Eugenio is a Spanish Tutor for Athabasca University, he is also a Spanish instructor for the University of Alberta Augustana Faculty, and part-time lecturer responsible for the Spanish Program.

Eugenio Palomino has been teaching Spanish since 1987, starting in the School system; in the outreach mode, for the community at large, non credit, and in Post Secondary education, college and university. Eugenio has taught Spanish at all levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced students, in very diverse contexts and institutions. This allows him to be liberal in making use of diverse learning materials.

Eugenio has been certified by Alberta Education as a Member of the Spanish Language Arts Resource Review Committee enabling him to analyze and to make recommendations for learning resources to be used in the Alberta Program of Studies. He has also obtained accreditation as an official examiner by the Instituto Cervantes in order to participate in the DELE exams.

Eugenio taught Spanish following the Program of Studies from Alberta Education in the School system, from Elementary to Secondary grades. His Post Secondary instruction includes beginners, intermediate and advanced courses on very diverse Spanish topics, such as grammar, culture and civilization, business, phonology and phonetics.

Eugenio has done legal, commercial and private translations (advertising –pamphlets, PowerPoints, recordings- , commercial letters, legal documents). He has worked occasionally as a translator-interpreter in diverse situations (commercial, conferences and in private).

Eugenio had participated in a past revision of SPAN 200 and SPAN 201.
